Fencing Programs, what is new... 

 

The May/June Term brings an end to the fencing season (September - June). 

  1. We have opened a new section of Kids Foil, on Monday and Thursday 4:30-5:30 first class for this new offering will be May 3 and runs through June 21, 2008: cost is 185.00 plus 50.00 USFA yearly membership.

  2. Several of our fencers are attending Summer National this year in various levels from Y12 to Veterans. The club will be closed July 1 - 10, 2008 for the duration of Summer Nationals.

  3. Fencing Clinics: We are running 2 week long Fencing clinics this summer for Beginner/Intermediate youth fencers. The first is July 21-25 and the second is August 4-8, 2008. Call for details and registration materials.

  4. Competitive Epee Clinics: we are offering 2 weeks of Competitive training, week 1, August 11-15 and week 2 August 18-22. These will be intensive training clinics for fencers with competitive experience, hours are 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Monday-Friday each week. Call for further details and registration materials.

Stage Combat Workshops & programs looking ahead: 

Congratulation to this years SPT class for all passing!!

Stage Combat programs are winding down heading into the summer hiatus, our regular class schedule will resume in September/October with the Smorgasbord and a Skills Proficiency Class. 

Action Film Workshops is planning to be back next Patriots Day 2009. Help spread the word and start saving for this tremendous training opportunity.

Competitive Schedule for 2007-2008

Our Junior Competitive Programs continue this season. These programs are geared for fencers over the age of 10 who are interested in a more intensive training experience as they prepare for competition.

The Junior Competitive Programming includes:

Competitive Level I & II Foil & Women's Epee  Mon 5:30 to 7:30 pm

Competitive Level I & II Saber                         Tues 5:30 to 7:30 pm

Competitive Level I & II Epee                          Wed 5:30 to 7:30 pm

Competitive Level I & II Foil                            Thurs 5:30 to 7:30 pm

Competitive Level I & II Saber & Men's Epee    Fri 5:30 to 7:30 pm
