Junior Competitive Programs: Techniques & Tactics

Bay State Fencers Junior Competitive Programs are for pre-teen and teenage Foil, Epee and Sabre fencers interested in competing on a local, regional, national or international level.  These programs meet throughout the fencing season, from September to July. Technique and tactical experience are expanded and conditioning is increased.  Fencers learn to outwit their opponents using techniques, tactics and physical endurance.

Being part of a fencing team and developing a coach-athlete relationship help fencers develop self-respect, respect for their teammates and opponents and respect for their coach.  Supervised bouting with personal instruction is the cornerstone of these programs.
