Fencing: Our Mission

 Our mission is to establish and maintain Bay State Fencers as a premiere full service urban fencing club, while maintaining our uncompromising principles as we continue to grow. The following principles help us to measure the appropriateness of our decisions:

• To provide a friendly and supportive club and academy environment where coaches, members and students always demonstrate good sportsmanship, respect and patience.
• To provide coaching and training that meets the highest standards of excellence and follows the precepts of the United States Fencing Association.
• To foster the development of fencers as people, athletes and competitors.
• To provide and maintain a state-of-the art training facility.
• To contribute positively to the community.
  

Bay State Fencers is a Member Club of the United States Fencing Association (USFA). The USFA is the recognized National Governing Body for the sport of fencing in the United States. Bay State Fencers coaches have been professionally trained either in Europe or the United States and are committed to supporting fencers as they work to achieve their individual competitive and athletic goals.
