April Vacation Fencing Clinic: Intermediate Fencing - Ages 10 to 14

Our Intermediate Fencing Clinic is a four-day intensive that expands basic fencing skills. This clinic is designed to encourage the development of self-esteem, aid in the development of self-confidence, and promote good physical fitness. Exercises and games that strengthen the body and improve speed and mobility are an integral part of this clinic. Technique and tactical experience are expanded.

• Youth/Junior Intermediate Fencing Clinic:
  - Ages 10 to 14
  - Four-day clinic - April 22nd Tuesday -25th Friday 2008
  - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
  - 8:30am drop-off begins
  - Pick-up at 3:00 pm - $5 per minute late pickup charge begins after 3:30 pm
  .
• Prerequisite: Fencing Basics or previous Fencing experience
  .
• What to wear: Sweatpants, sneakers and a loose t-shirt
  .
• What to bring:
  - Bag Lunch and Snacks
  - Water Bottle and/or Sports Drink (NO soda please)
  .
• Cost:
  - $300 per session plus Annual $50 USFA Membership
  - Use of equipment and uniforms are included in the class fee
  .
• What will I receive?
  - Daily individual lesson with one of our coaches
  - Daily small group instruction in footwork, conditioning and blade work
  - Introduction to the USFA competition format and the role of the Director
  - Tournament at the conclusion of training
  .
• What is the daily schedule?
  8:45 am - 9:00 am     Arrival and drop off
  9:00 am - 10:00 am   Warm ups and physical training
  10:00 am -10:15 am  Break
  10:30 am -12:00 pm  Drills, footwork and blade work
  12:00 pm - 1:00 pm   Lunch
  1:00 pm - 4:00 pm    Bouting and individual lessons
  3:00 pm - 3:30 pm    Pick-up

Refund Policy
There will be no refunds for missed camp time due to illness, transportation problems or other personal reasons.

Cancellation Policy
Bay State Fencers reserves the right to cancel any clinic for which there is insufficient registration or for any reason, up to two weeks prior to the start of the clinic. Every attempt will be made to place a registrant of a canceled clinic in another clinic of his or her choice. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
